香港發展地圖集（第二版）

．本地圖集中收集了香港160多年來在自然、經濟、城市、社會、環境等衆多方面的大量資料，是一部較詳細地反映香港近代發展與變化的綜合地圖集。

．本地圖集集中而系統地反映了香港自1841年以來的與本地居民較為密切的各方面變化及其空間分佈形態，包括基本設施的發展，經濟活動的轉變，城市化及人口遷移，人口素質的變化，財政、福利、環境的變更等等。香港和中國內地的關係及對外貿易的關係，也是香港發展過程中的主要內容，在本地圖集中亦有反映。

．本地圖集盡可能搜集了不同時期的規劃圖，和一些以地圖及坐標表示的重要的學術界意見，反映出香港在發展過程中不同的意見和各種可能的空間分佈形態。

參考文獻 References

薛鳳旋，原籍福建長汀，1947年生於廣州，1949年隨日佔時期避居廣州的全家返居香港。1970年香港大學地理及地質系畢業，1974年獲香港大學碩士學位，1977年獲倫敦大學經濟學院博士學位，後入香港大學任教，1985年任高級講師，1988年任教授。1993年至1998年期間任香港大學地理及地質系主任。2008年被香港浸會大學聘為當代中國研究所奠基所長、地理學講座教授。
作者的主要研究方向是城市地理與城市經濟，並曾出任中國多個城市的政府諮詢委員會成員及大學榮譽教授。
作者是中華人民共和國香港特別行政區籌備委員會委員。
作者自1993年起歷任第八至第十屆中華人民共和國全國人民代表大會代表。
